What is a Destroyer ? - the new United States Navy ZUMWALT Class Destroyer is something else again as the following table illustrates. The modern DARING is a substantial vessel but when compared with the Cruiser BELFAST can be considered in scale and thus the term Destroyer appropriate, but the ZUMWALT class are a quite different proposition.
