Gallipoli Ceremony - During Exercise Joint Warrior (the recent exercise of the North West coast of Scotland), Sailors, Soldiers, Airman and Royal Marines from the UK, Australia and New Zealand held a traditional ANZAC Day Dawn Service on the Assault Ship BULWARK as there were Australian and New Zealand personnel embarked as part of the planning and execution staff for the exercise.    The Australian and New Zealand Army Corps (ANZAC) efforts at Gallipoli during World War 1 still have a great hold in the antipodes and resonant here still as well.   The Dawn Service began at 0445 as the sun rose above the horizon and a number of readings and prayers were led by the Chaplain on the BULWARK, including the poem In Flanders Fields with the Last Post sounded with a one minute silence observed, the end of which was marked by the sounding of Reveille.
