Combined Task Force 150there has been a change of command at CTF 150 the multi-national task force that conducts maritime security operations in the Gulf of Aden, Gulf of Oman, Arabian Sea, Red Sea and the Indian Ocean.   The Royal Australian Navy Commodore having completed the third Australian command period of CTF 150 handed over command to a Pakistan Navy Commodore during a change of command ceremony on board Pakistani Frigate BADR in Bahrain.   The BADR is the former Type 21 Frigate ALACRITY which was decommissioned and transferred to Pakistan in March 1994.    The EXOCET missile system was not transferred to Pakistan and the obsolete SEACAT launcher on the former ALACRITY was removed and a Chinese LY-60N missile launcher was fitted in place of the EXOCET system and 20 mm and 30 mm guns were also fitted.
