Anglo-French Africa – the Type 23 Frigate ARGYLL has been operating off the west coast of Africa since early March and recently had the opportunity to exercise with a small task group from the French Navy comprising the Amphibious Assault Ship FS MISTRAL and the Corvette FS HENAFF. After conducting some close quarter manoeuvres and testing the skills of the bridge and navigation teams, the highlight of the encounter was a co-ordinated gunnery serial in which ARGYLL and HENAFF fired their medium range guns at a large floating target.
