Captain’s Command – in 2012 there will just be eight (8) ships which will have a Captain in command, they are:

·         Helicopter Carriers          ILLUSTRIOUS                       OCEAN

·         Assault Ships                    ALBION (Extended Readiness)       BULWARK

·         Destroyers (Type 45)      DARING                             DAUNTLESS

·         Frigate (Type 23)            WESTMINSTER

·         Ice Patrol Ship                 PROTECTOR
