SULTAN Given Freedom of the Borough of Gosport – SULTAN the shore establishment at Gosport (near Portsmouth), and the primary engineering training establishment for the Royal Navy has been granted the Freedom of the Borough of Gosport.   SULTAN was initially knonw as RAF Gosport and later became the Royal Naval Air Station, HMS SISKIN.
