Type 45 Destroyers Ready – the DARING is the first Type 45 to deploy and will set off for a seven  month deployment “East of Suez” – the DAUNTLESS and DIAMOND will also make maiden deployments in 2012.     The fourth and fifth of the Class, the DRAGON and DEFENDER, are at sea and completing the first batch of sea trials, and the sixth DUNCAN is currently fitting out, construction work having largely been completed.
